Violeta Kelertas received her PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Wisconsin Madison. ![]() She has a Master’s degree in English from Arizona State University and is currently living in Vilnius, Lithuania, where she is working as a translator and language instructor. Her translations of contemporary Lithuanian literature appear regularly in The Vilnius Review.Īusrine Byla is the granddaughter of Balys Sruoga. Jura is a Fulbright Scholar (Lithuania, 2000), and has been teaching at Boston University since 2008. Jura Avizienis has a Master’s degree in Lithuanian literature from the University of Illinois. His most recent book to appear in English is Ideas and Structures: Essays in Architectural History (2011). ![]() His books, articles and essays have been widely translated. He has served as president of PEN Lithuania and is currently its vice president. The author of eleven books and seven collections of essays he is a professor at Vilnius University.
